Monitor supply inventory and compile requisitions for Base Services Manager

This position requires a thorough knowledge and demonstrated skills for fabrication processes including robotic and manual welding

Capable of learning basic CNC machining operations

Uses various tools provided in the work area to perform duties and may include the use of lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35 lbs

Positions heavy fabricated metal components in fit-up jigs and weld fixtures utilizing overhead and jib cranes

Operates robotic and manual weld machines

Inspects own work quality utilizing weld gages, tape measure, and attribute gages

In station repair on defective welds utilizing carbon air arc process, grinders

Able to clear common robotic welding system faults in all qualified work stations

Complete routine maintenance (wire change, tip/nozzle change) in all qualified stations

Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste

Elimination, and Standard Work

Coordinates, oversees, and monitors activities in a fabrication value stream

Responsible for training other team members in Standard Work

Provide leadership and assist with the training of Machine Operators

• Perform packaging line start-ups, shutdowns, and clearances
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to production schedule and identify discrepancies to include sanitization, material handling, rework, units produced, downtime
• Inspect product for defects and respond accordingly
• Coordinate and manage all off-line reworks
• Daily resource planning including scheduling of production associates to lines
• Attend daily pass down meetings at the beginning and end of every shift
• Provide break coverage for production associates as needed
• Monitor ComplianceWire accounts to ensure production associates are compliant in their training

Qualifications for shift team lead

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, talking, listening, writing, handling, grasping
• Occasional climbing ladders/steps walking up inclines and uneven terrain, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, turning, balancing, carrying
• High school diploma and work related experience in a lean manufacturing environment requested
• Prefer vocational education/training in plastics or tooling
• Process and investigates all return authorizations relating to O S & D
• Reconcile CHEP pallet and Pinnacle invoices

• Preferred certification in CNC or robotic maintenance, PLC equipment maintenance, welding, electrical or mechanical licensure
• Tuesday, Thursday and Weekend 6pm to 6am
• Spanish skills are a plus
• Must know custodial cleaning techniques, chemicals, procedures and methods
